Nevada, South Carolina, Super Tuesday…. Amy Tom, & Pete are out..

Since the Nevada Primary, the-contenders was unable to update.. therefore here is the quick updates since:

Nevada Primary:

Winner: Bernie Sanders (Sen. VT), 2nd Place: Vice President Joe Biden

South Carolina Primary:

Winner: Joe Biden by huge margins thanks in large part to a domination in the African American community and a very timely announcement of support from longtime South Carolina Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn.

Unsurprisingly, Billionaire Philanthropist Tom Steyer dropped his quest for the White House Saturday night after millions spent on South Carolina. The long-shot bid just ran out of time. In a more surprising move Sunday night and Monday Morning, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (MN) and Mayor Pete Buttigieg, South Bend, IN, dropped out of the race after dissappointing finished and unrealistic paths past Super Tuesday. The two had become bitter rivals, often trading personal attacks on the debate state as Moderate-Mid-Westerners. Both have joined Team Biden rallying their supporters to cast votes for the former Vice President.

Massachussetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and former Mayor of New York City are the only serious candidates (sorry Tulsi Gabbard) remaining in the race. The youngest candidate in the race is now Sen. Warren (70). The race for the Democratic Nominee hinges upon today’s results with a whopping 1,616 delegates up for grabs.
